Ligue 1 continued its course this Sunday with the matches of Jaraaf, Guédiawaye FC and Casa Sports which made various fortunes.
At the Ngor stadium where today’s clash pitted Jaraaf against Génération Foot, the supporters were not disappointed with the spectacle. Jaraaf quite simply overturned a poorly started game since the Medina club conceded the first goal after eight minutes of play. Malick Daf’s men were then able to count on their capacity for resilience to win this first match in the championship ( 2-1).
In Ngalandou Diouf, the promoted Ajel de Rufisque started his season ideally by winning by the smallest of margins against the reigning Ligue 2 champion Wallydan. In Guédiawaye, the GFC could not do better than a draw against the USO (1-1). Kabiro Joof and Pape Mbaye Ba scored the goals in the first period.
Having narrowly escaped relegation last season, Casa Sports does not yet seem completely healed. The flagship Ziguinchor club recorded a point against Sonacos in a match which ended in a goalless draw. Finally, Jamono Fatick played Nuuk against Linguère de Saint Louis (1-1). The Fatickoise equalizer arrived at the very end of the match.
