Hit at the start of the match against Stuttgart, Bayern defensive midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic fractured his collarbone.
The sentence has fallen. During the big success against Stuttgart (4-0), the young defensive midfielder of Bayern Munich Aleksandar Pavlovic (20 years old) fractured his right collarbone at the start of the match, the Munich club announced on X.
Bayern said Pavlovic would be out “the next few weeks” but according to the daily Bild he will have to be operated on and may not return before the winter break. During an aerial duel with Stuttgart player Fabian Rieder in the 5th minute of play, the German international landed badly on his shoulder and fractured his right collarbone.
He was replaced three minutes later by Portuguese Joao Palhinha, one of Bayern’s summer signings.
A revelation last season for Bayern under Thomas Tuchel, Pavlovic missed Euro-2024 with Germany due to inflammation of the tonsils, while he was part of the list of 26 players selected by coach Julian Nagelsmann. To compensate for his absence, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany has Joao Palhinha or Leon Goretzka, who has only played 22 minutes in 10 matches played by Bayern since the start of the season.
