A new City Group player on his way to Manchester before joining… a Belgian club – All Football

Lommel has found a new winger. Indeed, John Edwin Montaño should join the club in January.

John Edwin Montaño, a 17-year-old Colombian winger, has signed with City Football Group. The deal is estimated at $3 million, including bonuses, with a 20% clause on a future resale for Independiente Medellín, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The player will soon travel to Manchester to undergo his medicals before joining Lommel, a club owned by the City Football Group, from January. The Belgian club is currently playing in the Challenger Pro League.

The young talent, born in 2006, was also in the sights of Aston Villa, but it was ultimately the City Football Group who won the battle.

We will therefore have to keep a close eye on this young talent, who could establish himself in his new club.
