La Liga returns

La Liga returns after the October international break. Real Madrid begin a demanding series of six matches in 21 days this evening with a trip to Balaídos against Celta (9 p.m.). In Vigo, our team will try to remain undefeated in the league and secure its seventh victory in La Liga.

Bringing back a good result will be key to generating confidence ahead of one of the most important weeks of the calendar. After the match against Celta, the Santiago Bernabéu will be the scene of two major meetings. First with the reception of Borussia Dortmund, for the revenge of the last final of the Champions League (Tuesday, 9 p.m.), then with that of Barcelona for the first Clásico of the season (Saturday, 9 p.m.).

“I see players motivated and in good physical condition,” Ancelotti said in press conference pre-match. Courtois is back in the list of players called up, which also includes all the internationals who participated in the international break, as well as Mbappé and Vini Jr. Both players are our team’s top scorers in La Liga with 5 and 4 respectively achievements.

Celta’s strengths
The Vigo team started this day in ninth place, with a record of four wins, one defeat and four draws. Three of these successes took place at Balaídos. Celta is uncompromising in its den and is one of the best teams at home. Borja Iglesias and the suspended Iago Aspas are the Galician top scorers with four goals each.
