David Hubert will make his debut as Anderlecht head coach this Friday, having taken over from Brian Riemer following his dismissal.
Having managed the team well as interim coach, he was confirmed in this position during the international break, despite the Mauves’ search for a new coach.
Before the match against Beerschot, Hubert revealed his selection, marked by a major surprise. With the injury of Jan Vertonghen and the suspension of Jan-Carlo Simic, Zanka remains the only central defender available.
Amando Lapage, performing well with the Futures and expected to be in the team, is absent from the selection, a surprising choice. This strongly suggests that Hubert will likely opt for Leander Dendoncker in central defense.
