Thibaut Courtois is doing very well, thank you for him. The Real Madrid goalkeeper was unstoppable in training this week and looks set to return from injury.
If there is one place where we do not complain about Thibaut Courtois’ decision to (temporarily?) stop the national team, it is Madrid.
The goalkeeper can thus stay at the club during the international breaks and not overload himself, having been hampered by injuries in recent seasons.
Currently, Courtois is recovering from a torn adductor muscle, which kept him off the field before the break during the match against Villarreal. But he will be back this weekend, and obviously he is in good shape.
Thibaut Courtois has indeed made a series of high-class saves in training with Real Madrid, in images captured by the cameras of the Spanish media AS. Real fans will have a smile; those of the Devils, perhaps a little less, because Koen Casteels did not reassure during the October truce.
