Max Verstappen has the psychological advantage over Lando Norris

As the race for the world title enters its decisive phase, the outcome of the championship will depend on many parameters including the psychology of the players, one of whom has already had this experience…

In this final Sprint of six Grands Prix and three Sprints, each point could prove decisive between the two protagonists of the duel for the title.

In addition to their respective teammates who should not pose a problem, Verstappen and Norris will also have to deal with competition from Ferrari and Mercedes, always capable of shining.

Max mentally stronger

The tension will therefore be at its height in the next two months and Helmut Marko, Red Bull’s gray eminence, remains convinced that his outgoing Dutch champion is the favorite to win a fourth consecutive crown.

“Max is the best, he’s the fastest and, above all, he has the mental strength to theoretically fight for the world championship more than Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris,
he insists. We know Norris has some mental weaknesses. I read about some rituals he has to do to do well on race day.”

The Austrian precedent

This war of nerves will be all the more exciting to follow as Verstappen and Norris are good friends in life, and even teammates to take part in virtual races on the networks, but their rivalry on the track has however generated some tensions.

We particularly remember the Austrian Grand Prix where the two men clashed, which left traces in their relationship to the point of not speaking to each other for some time. There is no doubt that the slightest excess will be dissected by each camp in the weeks to come and that the suspense will reach its peak, hopefully, until the last round in Abu Dhabi.
