Two layoffs confirmed at OL

Olympique Lyonnais has launched proceedings against two of its players. Florent Sanchez and Chaïm El Djebali were laid off.

If things are going a little better on the side of the first team with two successes in the last two matches and a rise to eighth place in the Ligue 1 standings, Olympique Lyonnais is not spared from the annoyances . This time, it is on the reserve side that things are not going very well. For two players in particular since according to information from the Olympique-et-Lyonnais website, Florent Sanchez and Chaïm El Djebali were laid off.

Indicating that it had confirmation of the Rhone club’s decision from several “concordant sources”, the media indicated that the two players should no longer wear the jersey and are subject to disciplinary proceedings. The exact reasons for OL’s choice to sanction the two midfielders have, however, not been revealed, even if for at least one of them, it could be an extra-sporting reason. .

Djebali had followed summer preparation with the pros

Considered not so long ago as serious hopes for the club, Florent Sanchez and Chaïm El Djebali each even made an appearance among the pros. The second named was also in Pierre Sage’s group during most of the last summer preparation. The footballers will, however, and very probably, leave the Lyon boat. It remains to be seen where they will manage to bounce back.
