A footballer defrauded of €680,000 by his ex-partner

In an interview given to Parisiana professional footballer revealed that he had been defrauded of nearly 680,000 euros by his ex-partner, Aurélie B., between 2010 and 2013. Aurélie, former treasurer of Kiabi, already suspected of having embezzled 100 million euros within of the ready-to-wear brand, also orchestrated an intimate fraud against this player.

For several years, she issued more than 140 fraudulent checks, taking advantage of the trust of her partner, who suspected nothing. It was only after a bank check that the footballer discovered the fraud.

A relationship marked by manipulation

In a relationship with the player, whom she had met in Bordeaux, Aurélie B. used her finances to lead a luxurious lifestyle, under the pretext of a bourgeois origin. Despite the seriousness of the facts, the player, who wished to remain anonymous, did not pursue his partner, but recovered part of the funds by attacking his bank for negligence.

Aurélie was then involved in other embezzlement cases, including a conviction in 2023 for stealing 760,000 euros from Inseec (Institute of Advanced Economic and Commercial Studies).
