Anderlecht still wants to support David Hubert: a club legend is mentioned, but… – All football

Anderlecht is still looking for a new assistant coach to support David Hubert. Although his name has been circulated, Bertrand Crasson has not been contacted.

The information was made official last week: David Hubert was confirmed as head coach of Anderlecht, despite advanced discussions between Jesper Fredberg and Ryan Mason.

The former interim coach, supported by Roel Clément and Yannick Euvrard, managed to convince the duo Wouter Vandenhaute – Marc Coucke and will have to combine “beautiful football” and “results.”

Last week, we wrote to you that Anderlecht was still looking for an assistant coach, or an “advisor” for David Hubert. Several names have already been mentioned.

Issame Charai refused, Bertrand Crasson was not contacted

That of Issame Charai, firstly, which has been circulating in recent days. The assistant coach and former professional striker, however, turned down the job.

The second name mentioned was that of… Bertrand Crasson, who, according to Newspaperwas proposed internally. It will most likely not be the former Red Devil who will support David Hubert either.

Indeed, our sources confirm that Crasson would never have been personally contacted by the RSCA, even if his name has traveled through the corridors of Lotto Park in recent hours.

The former Anderlecht player (413 official matches with the Mauves), who already knows the T2 position very well having worked alongside Emilio Ferrera, Marian Mihail or Aniello Parisi, would obviously be very interested in this role, but it was never offered to him. The search therefore continues, at Lotto Park.
