4th round of SFPL: Charmilles, Wil and Minerva still undefeated

This weekend (October 12 – 13), the 4th day of the Swiss Futsal Premier League took place. In total, 34 goals were scored in 4 matches.

On Saturday October 12, Uni Futsal Team Bulle (FR) traveled to the Italian CS (GE), two teams looking for their first points this season. The bullois quickly took the advantage after 4 minutes of play (Joao Pedro Ferreira Da Silva, who ended up scoring three goals in this match) but above all made the difference at the end of the half: three goals in two minutes (Thomas Valentim Rico twice and Tiago José Oliveira) allowed the Gruyères to take a decisive advantage (4-0 at half-time). CS Italian then never returned to the game, even conceding 5 additional goals in the first 4 minutes of the second half. In the end, Bulle won 9-2 and took the three points.

On Sunday October 13, the Bernese derby, a remake of last year’s final, saw Futsal Minerva (BE) welcome Mobulu (BE). It was a closely fought match, but Minerva took the lead after 2 minutes of play thanks to Elias Kägi. Fabio Mauricio Lopes Soares drove home the point with a very nice finish (2-0 in the 9thth minute). The break goal fell 3 minutes before half-time (3-0 again by Lopes Soares). Everton Luiz Kosmann sealed the score at the end of the match in the empty goal (4-0).

Futsal Maniacs (AG) traveled to Geneva to face a confident AS Charmille (GE). The Genevans opened fire quickly with Stanislav Dzhambazov (1-0, 3th minute). The Maniacs goalkeeper received a red card in the 10thth minute and AS Charmilles took advantage of the numerical superiority to score the 2-0 by Bruno Miguel Dias Martins in the same minute. The rest of the match was one-sided and the Genevans won 8-2 in the end, helped by Bruno Miguel Dias Martins’ hat-trick. AS Charmilles will travel to Wil next weekend, for a duel between two undefeated teams.

Finally, FC Le Parc (NE) hosted Salines Futsal (AG). Joshua Gonzalez opened the scoring for Neuchâtel in the first minute, but Salines came back to lead 2-3 at half-time. At the 22th minute, the red card against Samuel Ferreira da Silva (FC Le Parc) was undoubtedly a decisive moment: Salines took advantage of the numerical inferiority of FC Le Parc to take a two-goal advantage through Arben Gashi. Salines broke out in a cold sweat at the end of the match but managed to maintain a short advantage to win 4-5.
