The Maghreb Sports Association (MAS) of Fez held its ordinary and extraordinary general meetings on Saturday for the 2023-2024 season. These AGs made it possible to examine the moral and financial reports.
The moral report detailed the activities of the sports season for the six sections of the MAS society, namely athletics, handball, table tennis, volleyball, pétanque and basketball, in addition to those of the steering committee. The financial report which presents all the financial operations of all sections of the association, specifies that the total revenues from the last sporting season exceeded 4 million DH, consisting in particular of subsidies from elected councils, membership contributions of the association, subsidies from sponsors. As for the expenses, they reached more than 5 million DH. A deficit that the MAS intends to fill in particular by increasing the annual subscription price.
As for the last item on the agenda relating to the holding of the extraordinary general assembly, it was decided to create two new sports sections: golf and triathlon, in addition to the amendment of the statutes of the association.
