A lover of the sea, Philippe is above all president of the Le Clown en Chœur association which works in hospitals, and Forbans de Lion, a folk sea shanty group. Very committed, Philippe is always very motivated, he easily reaches out to others and is ready to help them. A simple man, appreciated for his empathy and kindness.
Before introducing Philippe to fencing, Clémence Castel offers him a stopover to discover Granville and its port. A lover of the sea, Philippe has always dreamed of visiting the inside of an old rigging. A boat that fascinates our guest. Welcomed by Joël, they discover the history of this old boat and participate in the small renovation work. Philippe is delighted to accomplish this mission and contemplates this majestic sailboat.

After this unforgettable participation in the renovation of a floorboard of an old rigging, head to Avranches to handle another type of board… Clémence and Philippe put on their equipment to learn fencing. A sporting break which seduces our guest who does not hesitate to show his talent quickly.
Fencing is a sport that knows how to keep up with the times. Since April 2018, a fourth weapon, other than the traditional swords, sabers and foils, has appeared. This is the lightsaber, directly inspired by the Star Wars saber.
The lightsaber has even become a discipline recognized by the French Fencing Federation with the delegation of the Ministry of Sports, Olympic and Paralympic Games. As such, the Federation organizes a French championship each year and structures its practice offering throughout France.

To end gently, Clémence has concocted a big surprise for Philippe. It was his dream, to meet Cyrille Dubois and hear him sing live, he made it happen and couldn’t believe it. An enchanted moment between history, music and meetings at the Cap Lihou church. Philippe is totally amazed.
