Ménigoute. Two photovoltaic projects

The municipal council, meeting Monday October 7, took the following decisions.

photovoltaic

A delegation from Sieds was invited to come and present two projects for installing photovoltaic panels on two municipal sites. Made up of Mehdi Gherribi, general director of services, Charles Antoine Chavier, deputy director, Julien Blanck, head of the energy transition service and Moussa Ennaji, project manager, the delegation presented two energy resource projects on the roof of the sports hall and two projects also covering the gas station.

For the gym, the roof must be insulated correctly, this will require replacing the roofing, which will make the project less profitable explained Julien Blanck. The gym equipment no longer seems to be financially attractive. For the service station, one of the two projects would be just financially acceptable with profitability over thirteen years. The idea of equipping the service station, including the washing station, with an “agricultural building” style roof was raised in order to increase the roof surface exposed to the sun and thus obtain better production. We can look at what exists and make proposals proposed Mehdi Gherribi.

Another meeting will be scheduled to study this new proposal which could also include a project for the roof of the association hall.

The council granted the following grants to local associations provided that some of them can provide an annual statement of their accounts: ESFM football, €600; the tennis club, badminton, the Vasles Ménigoute football school, the fitness club, the seniors’ club, the wooden ball, the firefighters’ association, blood donors, hunting, the club tarot card, veterans, the LIFT yoga association, the billiards academy, Gâtine en musique, Pompaire Ménigoute table tennis, Acamo, the college sports association, will each receive: €200.
