The Casablanca International Marathon is an emblematic event which brings together thousands of runners each year around a common passion, while celebrating the soul of the white city.

Following numerous suggestions from participants and sports associations, the local authorities, elected officials and security services of the city of Casablanca were sensitive to this collective request and decided in consultation with the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation (FRMA) to move the start of the 15th edition of the Casablanca International Marathon which will take place on Sunday October 27, 2024 in front of the Wilaya of the Casablanca-Settat Region (Place Mohammed V). Edition placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The Wilaya is a strong symbol, embodying the authority and organization which guarantee the security and smooth running of the event. Launching the marathon from this location is a way of recalling the connection between institutions and citizens, uniting their efforts to make this sporting event a real source of local pride.
