Transfers. Top 14 – : Thomas Bué visiting, several winger profiles studied

In recent weeks, Aviron has been working behind the scenes to advance its pawns on several issues in preparation for next season. Thus, the left pillar of , Thomas Bué, visited the facilities of the Basque club, while different profiles are studied, on the wing.

Rowing Bayonnais formalized, last night, the extension of Sireli Maqala for the next two years (plus an optional third), achieving a very nice move, as the three-quarter center is having a very good start to the season. Behind the scenes, the sky and white managers are working on several issues in preparation for next season. At the left pillar position, they attempted to enlist the promising Louis Marybut as indicated in our columns, the latter chose to join the UBB.

The Bayonne decision-makers have activated a second track, which leads to the pillar of Montauban, Thomas Bué (22 years old). The first contacts between Rowing and the current Montauban player date back to last year. They have recently been reactivated and according to our information, last Wednesday, taking advantage of the week of break in Pro D2, the latter came to visit the Campus facilities. Bué (1m81, 123 kg) has played three matches since the start of the season. He is under contract with USM until 2027. If Bayonne wishes to enlist him, the Basque club will have to pay a certain amount.

Jurand, case (already) closed?

Among three-quarters, as indicated several weeks ago in our columns, Donovan Taofifenua was approached by the Bayonne leaders. He even visited the sky and white facilities. Another profile was studied, that of Joris Jurand. The profile of the ASM Clermont winger particularly appealed to the Bayonne staff and the director of rugby, Gerard Fraser, who notably trained him at Provence Rugby during the 2016-2017 season. In recent days, however, this track has cooled considerably. At the post, Aurélien Callandret is at the end of his contract.
