It was this evening that the CH season officially began.
For the occasion, Montreal hosted Toronto.
We couldn’t wait to see Patrik Laine and when he was introduced to the crowd, he received a huge ovation. We were not disappointed.
People love him in Montreal.
He has not played a single match for the Habs and he has already won the hearts of fans. I’m sure he would have wanted to play this match, but you could see the emotion in his face. He even received a nice pat on the back from his trainer Martin St-Louis.
As for the rest of the ceremony, it was much better than in recent years. Geoff Molson took notes. We will remember the partisan who showed his disagreement with the big boss in the series Reconstruction.

Moreover, the team thanked its supporters for the warm welcome at the start of the 2024-2025 campaign.
