Domenico Tedesco has been under a lot of pressure lately with the Red Devils. He received the support of Luciano Spalletti, the Italy coach.
The Red Devils experienced a Euro to quickly forget. They were eliminated in the round of 16 by France. A few months later, in the Nations League, they lost again against France.
The coach receives a lot of criticism for the choices he made during the Euro, or for the players he did not call up to the national team. This is not an ideal situation for Domenico Tedesco.
But now he is receiving unexpected support. Indeed, the coach of the Italian team, Luciano Spallettiextolled the merits of Tedesco during his press conference.
“Tedesco is an exceptional coach. I had the chance to meet him and he has his own ideas and never stops influencing the team and coming up with new ideas,” he begins.
“He is going his own way and his team is playing good football, it will be a difficult challenge,” concludes Spalletti. On Thursday, the Red Devils will face the Italians in Rome.
