Quebecer Raphaël Lavoie did not have time to unpack his bags in the “city of vice”.

24 hours after being claimed on waivers by the Vegas Golden Knights, the 24-year-old forward was once again made available for all other teams in the National Hockey League (NHL).

NHL teams have until tomorrow, 2 p.m., to make a claim.

If the Edmonton Oilers decided to claim the skater from Chambly, they could send him to the American League without him having to go through waivers again. However, the Oilers must be the only team to put their name in the hat to claim Lavoie.

The latter was a second-round choice of the same Oilers during the 2019 draft. During his career, he only played seven games in the Bettman circuit without being able to collect a point.

Last season, he scored 28 goals and 50 points in 66 games with the Bakersfield Condors in the American League, the Oilers’ farm club.
