PSG: Dortmund wants to repatriate Ousmane Dembélé!

Sidelined against Arsenal for disciplinary reasons, Ousmane Dembélé returned to the PSG squad for the trip to on Sunday evening. But relations are conflicting with Luis Enrique, which does not fail to fuel rumors in the run-up to the winter transfer window.

Luis Enrique’s centerpiece for a year, Ousmane Dembélé was dismissed to everyone’s surprise for the perilous trip to Arsenal in the Champions League last Tuesday. A dispute between the two men is at the origin of this sidelining, which was only occasional since the French international returned to the Saint-Germain group this Sunday for the trip to Nice (1-1). Relations are nevertheless tense between Dembélé and Luis Enrique, and one wonders if the former FC Barcelona striker will not have desires elsewhere after this episode. One thing is certain, this incident causes multiple rumors about the future of Ousmane Dembélé.

Sent to Manchester United or other English clubs, the 26-year-old right winger is also the subject of rumors from one of his former clubs, Borussia Dortmund. According to information from the Fichajes site, the German club is very interested in the prospect of recovering its former number 10… from January. Indeed, Borussia Dortmund is very interested in a loan from Ousmane Dembélé in the winter transfer window, in the event that Paris Saint-Germain wishes to part ways with him after his cold spell with Luis Enrique.

Dortmund would like to get him back on loan

“For Dembélé, returning to Dortmund would be an opportunity to reconnect with the best version of himself, far from the tensions in Paris. Dortmund are ready to bet on him and PSG would be interested in a loan so that the player does not lose his value. Everything indicates that his future could be a return to Germany” affirm our colleagues from the Spanish media, for whom Paris SG would look favorably on Dembélé’s loan to Dortmund for six months before a potential sale at a high price in June 2025. The information, however, seems surprising because PSG is not not rich enough in the offensive sector to part with such a player, and it is difficult to imagine the capital club recruiting an international class player during the month of January in attack.

By dismissing Dembélé against Arsenal, Luis Enrique has in any case launched a soap opera which can destabilize his team in the long term, with incessant rumors and which can also have a direct impact on the performance of his player. The Parisian leaders and supporters would certainly have done without it.
