Swiss Adrian Schmid wins the King Mohammed VI Show Jumping Grand Prix

Swiss rider Adrian Schmid riding “Chicharito 11” won, Sunday in El Jadida, the King Mohammed VI Show Jumping Grand Prix, 3rd and final stage of the 13th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour (MRT) , organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

Adrian Schmid won this Grand Prix, contested over two rounds, by completing the course in 45.54 without fault. The Saudi Khaled Almobty riding “Spacecake” occupied 2nd place with 4 penalty points and a time of 37.91, ahead of the other Swiss, Dominik Fuhrer on “Ghoste” (4 pts/41.43).

At the end of this competition, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE) and the Horse Show Association, Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, presented the Grand Prix to the winning rider, as well as rewards to the riders having occupied the other first four places.

The HM King Mohammed VI Show Jumping Grand Prix was organized as part of the 15th International Horse Show (October 1-6). Thirteen events, including six CSI4*, took place there.

The El Jadida stage is the third and last of the MRT, after those of Tetouan (September 19-22) and Rabat (September 26-29).

The 13th edition of the MRT, the results of which count in qualification for the World Cup, brought together 133 riders and 263 horses representing 16 countries, including Morocco.
