The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the hats for the draw for its 2024-2025 Confederation Cup.
CAF has announced the date of the draw for the groups for its next edition of the Confederation Cup. It will be this Monday in Cairo, Egyptfrom 1 p.m. local time (GMT+3). It will be 11 a.m. Algeria and at Moroccoand 12 p.m. in France. This will be followed live and in full on the CAF digital platforms, in particular CAF TV on Youtube and CAFOnline.com.
Composition of the hats
At the same time, the veil has fallen on the hats for the draw which will be carried out by the hands of African legends Naby Keita (Guinea), Ahmed Fathy (Egypt), the Franco-Congolese coach Florent Ibenge and the South African Siphiwe Tshabalala. Hat 1 brings together RS Berkane and USM Alger, two clubs linked by
their antecedent from the last campaign against the backdrop of the ultra controversial Berkani jerseybut also Zamalek, defending champion and winner of the CAF Super Cup, and Simba SC.
In the second hat we find ASEC Mimosas, Stade Malien, Al-Masry SC and CS Sfaxien. Hat 3 brings together Enyimba, ASC Jaraaf, CS Constantine and Bravos do Maquis. Finally the fourth and final hat includes CD Lunda Sul, Orapa United, Associação Black Bulls and Stellenbosch.
