Ksar El Kébir: Some 1,000 beneficiaries of a multidisciplinary medical caravan

Ksar El Kébir – Some 1,000 people should benefit from the services of a multidisciplinary medical caravan organized on October 5 and 6, in the commune of Ksar El Kébir, in the province of Larache.

Organized by the “Hand in Hand” association of Al Akhawayn University, in partnership with the commune of Ksar El Kébir, the provincial health delegation of Larache and the Moroccan Sahrawi Royalist Youth Authority, this caravan is taking place under the sign “Health is a crown on the heads of the healthy that only the sick can see”.

In a statement to MAP, the vice-president of the “Hand in Hand” association, Rania Daya, indicated that this medical caravan targets 1,000 beneficiaries over two days, with consultations in several specialties, including general medicine, ophthalmology, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, otorhinolaryngology and gastroenterology.

She also stressed that this medical caravan is taking place in “good conditions”, highlighting the large influx of residents and their satisfaction at the end of the various consultations.

For his part, Mohammed Hammadi, regional delegate of the Moroccan Sahrawi Royalist Youth Authority in Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, highlighted the important role of this medical caravan in bringing health services closer to the population, calling to more similar initiatives in the region.

As for Nouhaila Ben Moussa, from the “bridge” solidarity association of dentists, she noted that as part of the medical caravan which targets 1,000 beneficiaries over two days, 700 consultations have already been provided on the first day of this initiative. humanitarian.

This social and solidarity action offered health services and medical consultations in different disciplines, including dentistry, she continued, expressing her hope that the caravan would have a positive impact on the local population.

This two-day medical campaign is part of the activities of the “Hand in Hand” association, aiming to contribute to improving the living conditions of needy populations and to disseminate the universal values ​​of solidarity, compassion and of collaboration.
