serious violence between supporters on the sidelines of the OL- match

This Sunday, October 6, OL scored a great victory by beating 2-0 at Groupama Stadium. But the party was spoiled by clashes between supporters.

According to our information, several individuals attacked the members of the brand new collective of supporters the Six Nine Pirates, at the end of the match, in front of block 439. One man was particularly attacked. He was treated by emergency services but his condition did not require transfer to hospital.

“These events are unworthy”

“My cousin was present on site with his great-nephew, to whom I lent my subscription in the block,” confirms a witness to the attack.

Other fans reportedly waited for the group to come down at the end of the match and “beat up the first people they came across.”

The families, groups of supporters and all the people who were in this block, and in the next block, had to go back up urgently and remained confined to the top floor of the stadium, protected by security and then the police who came as reinforcement.

On the social network We very strongly condemn the clashes and attacks which took place in the stadium this afternoon. These events are unworthy of our coat of arms. Olympique Lyonnais must remain united and indivisible. »
