NFL: The name of Davante Adams will still circulate a lot

Davante Adams trade rumors are expected to intensify next week as the Las Vegas Raiders star’s hamstring improves.

More teams are considering what they are willing to offer for receiver, sources told ESPN.

Discussions are not believed to be as advanced as some have suggested, according to sources, but the health of Adams, who continues to recover from an injury, could potentially sideline him until week 6.

Interested teams are also hesitant to make firm offers, knowing the Raiders could use those offers to price the deal on the market between now and the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 5.

The Raiders have made it known to interested teams that team owner Mark Davis would accept nothing less than a second-round pick in exchange for Adams, as well as additional compensation that could come in the form of ‘a draft pick or a player.

The New York Jets and New Saints are considered favorites to get Adams. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens are also reportedly in discussions.

Adams’ salary this season is $17.5 million, with $13.5 million still to be paid through the end of the season. Under contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, his annual salary will increase to $36.25 million for each of these seasons.
