Sierra Leone coach Amidu Karim unveils a list of 25 players to face Ivory Coast in this month’s CAN 2025 qualifiers.
The Leone Stars challenge the Elephants on October 11, 2024 at the Laurent Pokou Stadium, before a reception at the Samuel-Kanyon-Doe Sports Complex in Liberia (October 15, 2024). On Karim’s list of 25, we notice the absence of Bristol Rovers midfielder Kamil Conteh.
In defense, Queens Rangers player Osman Kakay is not also called up. The other key information is the return of Nantong Zhiyun winger to China, Issa Kallon.
Sierra Leone picked up just one point from the first two matches of the CAN 2025 qualifiers against Chad, having lost to Zambia.
