Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in the fight for a young Brazilian

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in the running to land rising Brazilian football star Vitor Reis.

The young 18-year-old central defender from Palmeiras attracts everyone’s attention. Vitor Reis is tracked by Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. But not only that. Real Madrid and Barcelona have also made inquiries from the player’s representatives according to The Athletic.

The Brazilian nugget has participated in 15 matches since June when he made his debut for the first team. He has since also scored 2 goals.

Palmeiras is not fooled by the value of its player and has signed him until June 2028. His release clause is set at 100 million euros. But this price could be revised downwards or upwards by Palmeiras in the future. The Brazilian club would indeed like to keep its player until the Club World Cup in 2025 and will see after that.

Palmeiras is a talent factory

Reis’ decision could be made taking into account the potential strengths in each team. Arsenal, for example, have several very high level central defenders. Real Madrid, after missing Leny Yoro this summer, could be tempted to accelerate on the file.

Another Palmeiras youngster, Estevao Willian, nicknamed Messiinho, will join Chelsea on July 1, 2025, with the deal having already been sealed between the two clubs. Let’s also mention Endrick, who left for Real Madrid this summer.

Palmeiras is definitely a source of talent.
