Despite promising results, the Grand Smash of China is over for Félix Lebrun. The bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympics first lost in the men’s singles, in the round of 16, against the Chinese Peng Xiang (1-3).

A quick first set

His tournament was not over, since he remained engaged in doubles alongside his big brother, Alexis. It is a place in the final which was played from the night of Thursday October 3 to Friday 4, against Chuqin Wang and Jingkun Liang. But in this semi-final, the Lebrun brothers were blown away from the start, with a first set lost 11-3. Although the following games were more closely contested (11-9 and 14-12), the French still lost.
