Zinedine Zidane, the breakup with Madame?

Without a club since the end of his adventure at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane seems to be completely flourishing in his new life away from the field.

Will we see Zinedine Zidane on the sidelines again? The question deserves to be asked as the former playmaker has stayed away from the world of football since his sudden departure from Real Madrid in the spring of 2021. There has been no shortage of requests over the last three years, from numerous clubs or selections , including Manchester United, PSG, Chelsea, the United States and Brazil, having tried in vain to make him their new coach.

For many, the former playmaker is only waiting for the place to become available (finally) on the bench of the team. While he thought he could succeed Didier Deschamps after the 2022 World Cup, the 1998 Ballon d’Or saw his former teammate return for four years and despite the difficulties encountered by the Blues in recent months, “DD” seems good decided to continue the adventure until the 2026 World Cup.

“Today, I want other things”

Zinedine Zidane is nevertheless adapting very well to this new life without football. “I’ve been a player, I’ve been a coach, and I’ve always been a jack of all trades. But today, I want other things, he confided, seeming to particularly appreciate this time shared with his wife with his family: “I also enjoy my life. I take care of my children, my grandchildren too, since I recently became a grandpa. My life is full, and that is the most important thing for me. »

He doesn’t miss football things. And if he multiplies the additional activities, in particular with his partners such as Alpine, of which he has become an ambassador, Mont-Blanc or Adidas, he enjoys his moments spent with family with Madame. “The most important thing is to be together and to have fun. For example, my oldest got married two years ago. The fact of everyone coming together is what I like, he whispered. Family reunions continue, often in , with mom, dad, brothers and sisters… But it’s more ‘Marseille discreet’, that is to say at home. »
