The list of the National Team for the double confrontation against Togo as part of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been published. Among those absent from this list are the two goalkeepers Anthony Mandrea and Alexandre Oukidja.
Vladimir Petkovic called on three goalkeepers for the October rally: Oussama Benbout, Alexis Guendouz and the new one Zakaria Boulahfaya.
To everyone’s great surprise, two experienced goalkeepers are absent from Vladimir Petkovic’s list for the double confrontation against Togo. The national coach justifies these absences by family reasons for Anthony Madrea and by a lack of form for Alexandre Oukidja: “You will ask me about the absence of certain players like Madrea and Oukidja. We spoke with Anthony and for family reasons he will not be there. Concerning Oukidja, he is only at 60%, I prefer to take players when they are at 100%.
