Discover the provisional ranking after the first two days of the Champions League. PSG and Lille are notably neck and neck but still far from the mark. Brest is at the forefront.
The second day of the Champions League ended this Wednesday evening with the highlight of Lille’s magnificent feat against Real Madrid (1-0). During the same evening, Monaco narrowly escaped by snatching a draw in Zagreb (2-2), a few days after their victory against FC Barcelona. The day before, Brest had beaten Salzburg (0-4) while PSG had lost ground at Arsenal (2-0).
In the standings, Brest is provisionally placed in 2nd place in the standings with two victories in as many matches. It is the Germans Borussia Dortmund who dominate the rankings. Benfica, author of a card against Atlético Madrid (4-0), completes the podium. In the top 10, you will not find another French club. Monaco ranks 14th, ahead of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Lille (18th) and PSG (19th) follow each other.
