THE supporters will be able to again cheer Bourige. Indeed, after leaving the Rouge et noir during the summer transfer window, Stade Rennais announces the return of its former midfielder, who spent seven years with the team, at Roazhon Park in Rennes.

In a publication on social networks, the club explains that Benjamin Bourigeaud “has wanted to come back to greet and thank the supporters Red and Black.”

He will therefore be present, Saturday October 5, at 9 p.m., at the stadium, as part of the match against ASM Clermont Auvergne.

“Bourige has become in seven seasons the most Breton of the Ch’tis, making a place among the legends of the SRFC and an even greater place in the hearts of the Rennais,” the club said at the time of his departure.

During his career at SRFC, he played in 311 matches. Last season, the 7th most capped player in the history of Stade Rennais FC, had crossed the 60 mark (66 goals and 63 assists in total)as if this were necessary to highlight his status as an elite player in French football and darling of Roazhon Park.
