His name has been on everyone’s lips for several days. Barely 12 years old, Adam Qaroual, of Moroccan origin, is making a name for himself in Spain after impressing with his team at FC Barcelona’s La Masia academy.
A new talent has emerged in the ranks of FC Barcelona, within the La Masi academy, known for producing exceptional discoveries for the first team.
The name of talented young player Adam Grouwal, aged 12, became known after his remarkable performances with his team at the La Masia academy, impressing with his technical gestures, which led many Spanish media to label him of “Barcelona’s new treasure”.
Qaroual was born in Mönchengladbach, Germany, and previously played for clubs Lurip and Borussia, near his hometown, before joining PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands in the youth teams.
Adam Qaroual comes from a Moroccan family, which prompted several Spanish newspapers to make comparisons between his precocious talent and that of his teammate Lamine Yamal, star of the first team and also from the La Masia academy , promoted last season by coach Xavi.
Qaroual plays as an attacking midfielder as well as a left winger. He stood out for his technical skills and his precise passes on the ground. His talent developed impressively after arriving at Barcelona.
Currently, Adam Qaroual stands out in the Barça under-13 team which plays in the children’s honor division and forms a shock duo with Moha Akhomach, brother of the Moroccan international Ilias Akhomach who plays at within Villarreal.
Furthermore, the young nugget is already represented by an agent and not the least, that of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, Jorge Mendes.
