“Samuel Eto’o and Mouelle Kombi had no choice”

For journalist Martial Owona, the president of Fecafoot and the Minister of Sports Narcisse had no choice yesterday at the Cameroon Cup final.

In Cameroon, the standoff between the Ministry of Sports and the Cameroonian Football Federation is at the center of all conversations. But on Sunday, during the Cameroon Cup final, the two strong heads of Cameroonian football displayed a degree of compact complicity, as if no liability had ever opposed them before. Pr. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi and Samuel Eto’o were in perfect communion, nothing suggests any conflict between the two.

“Samuel Eto’o and Minister of Sports Narcisse Mouelle Kombi had no choice yesterday at the Cameroon Cup final. It was a protocol provision where the president of Fécafoot had to accompany the Minister of Sports so that he could kick off the match.
