Céline van Till is having an incredible end to the season. Double medalist at the Paralympic Games in this summer, the 33-year-old from Geneva won a second medal on Friday at the world championships in Zurich, in the T2 category.

Already a gold medalist last Tuesday in the time trial, Van Till finished second and silver medalist on Friday in the road race.

At the end of the 31.8 kilometers and 411 meters of positive altitude difference, it was the Dane Emma Lund who won in 1 hour 02’45”. The Genevan arrived a minute later and the bronze medal went to the German Angelika Dreok-Kaser (at 6’07”).

This is already the eighth medal for the Swiss team in its Worlds, including six won by para cycling athletes.
