What to do at Mans Saturday September 28 and Sunday September 29, 2024? The weekend will be busy with many concerts but also other activities. Here is a selection of 10 exits by News Le Mans.
1. Forever Young: Last Day
The festival forever Young ends on Saturday with many free entertainment for young people, in the city center: multimedia lounge, zip line, musical stages, theater, circus, sports activities, escape game, etc.
Saturday September 28, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the Places de la République, des Jacobins, de la Sirène and Saint-Nicolas.
2. A neighborhood visit
For the first time, a visit discovery of the districtYzeuville is offered this Saturday. We owe its creation and its name to Ambroise Yzeux, an urban planner from Sarthe.
Saturday September 28 at 3 p.m. Meet at 1 rue de l’Ardoise. Full price: €6; reduced rate: €4. Reservations recommended at the Maison du Pilier-Rouge, ticket office on site.
3. The 24 Hours Trucks
The heavyweights of motor sports are back this weekend at Le Mans: the 39th edition of the 24 Hours Trucks is expected to attract tens of thousands of spectators. On the program: races but also entertainment (fireworks, parade, concert, etc.).
Saturday September 28 and Sunday September 29, on the Bugatti circuit.
4. Basketball: MSB VS St-Quentin
As part of the 2nd Day of Betclic Elite, the MSB receives Saint-Quentin. The Manceaux lost during the first day of competition, on September 22, against Lyon-Villeurbanne (85-71).

5. Gims, Soprano, Keen’V… 10 artists at the Vibration Tour
A big concert will be held on Saturday evening: the Tower Vibration will reunite on the same stage
Soprano, Gims, Keen’V, Sound Of Legend… That’s around ten artists for the last date of the tour.
Saturday September 28, in the Quinconces car park, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Access will be open from 6 p.m.
6. Gabriel Fauré at church
In another style, the “most beautiful melodies” of Gabriel Faure will resonate in Saint-Lazare, for the centenary of the death of this great French composer. Rachel Guilloux (soprano) and Olivier Naveau (baritone) will be accompanied on the piano by Mélanie Renaud.

7. From guitar to brewery
There Guitar Fair will take place in a downtown brasserie, with digressions around this instrument: free ensemble + Dièze (Diego Leyder solo) on the program.

8. The “coffee girls and boys” race
It was to take place on Sunday September 22 in the streets of Le Mans. Canceled due to rain, the cafe girls and boys race was postponed for a week.

9. Aldebert in metal mode!

10. Harmony at the kiosk
For this last session of the “Sundays at the Bandstand” season, the Harmonie des Chemins de Fer du Mans will perform in the open air. The orchestra will perform well-known contemporary works, such as America (West side story), The best of Charles Aznavour, Bella ciao, Le lion est mort ce soir, Bohemian rhapsody…
