overthrown at the buzzer in the Champions League

At the last second, the team gave in to the Hungarians in Szeged (33-32) during the 3rd day of C1.

The Handball Club of Nantes was beaten at the siren in the Hungarian hall of Szeged (33-32) Thursday during the 3rd day of the Champions League after having had the ball to go in front 15 seconds earlier.

The Nantes, beaten in Aalborg (38-31) before dominating Kielce (23-30) leave Hungary with a second defeat in a row in all competitions (28-35 in on Sunday in the championship) and regrets.

They had in fact just before the possession to get back in front (32-32), lost by Aymeric Minne 15 seconds from the buzzer, before the powerful left back Richard Bodo pierced their net at the last second.

And even before this last action, they may regret not having been able to keep their goal lead longer (32-31) obtained one minute from the end after a penalty converted by Julien Bos, after the temporary exclusion of Lucas De la Bretèche for adding to a fault against him.
