“On Sunday, after the match, there was no response, whether from the police, our security forces or those of Nantes, explains the deputy general manager of Angers Sco, Jérôme Negroni. We learned about it in passing, in the last few hours, on social networks. We are not taking the problem lightly and if things have happened, we are watching the videos to see it. We are working as a three-way team, with Nantes and the police. It is under investigation with all parties.”

FC Nantes specifies that “The video images are being analyzed, in conjunction with the Sco. The FCN SLO is currently in the process of collecting reports.” Two days before the match, a bag of smoke bombs in the colours of FC Nantes was discovered under the visitors’ enclosure, reserved for Nantes supporters.
