The new jersey line is a collaboration between the NHL and sports company Fanatics. Four categories of jerseys are offered: Authentic Pro, Premium, Breakaway and Practice.
Prices range from $140 for practice jerseys to $625 for the Authentic Pro category, which are Canadian-made replicas of the jerseys worn by the players.

Prices criticized
On social media, hockey fans criticized the prices.
“$625 for a jersey. Obscene. Find me a sport that hates its fans as much as hockey,” one person wrote on X.
“Seeing these prices for jerseys. The nerve. The audacity,” someone else wrote.
“Ridiculous. I hope no one buys one. $700 (with tax) for a jersey. The 10-year deal with Fanatics is just beginning,” lamented one fan.
