Joe Tekori could make his return to the field. Our colleagues from 100% Radio reveal that the former 2e or 3e line, having passed through Castres and Toulouse, is considering resuming service.
Tekori future Blagnac player?
Joe Tekori, 40, who retired in 2022, is said to be in advanced discussions with the Blagnac clubwhich is playing this season in Fédérale 1, a year after being relegated from Nationale due to bankruptcy.
Tekori, triple French champion (2013, 2019 and 2021) plans to take part in Blagnac training this Tuesday evening. If the feelings are good, he could then decide to sign for the season.
Busy schedule
But before that can happen, it is also necessary to see if it can fit in with his schedule at Stade Toulousain. A club employee as assistant equipment and logistics manager, Joe Tekori, still as physically impressive, is in charge of the Espoirs. There could be a conflict between the latter’s matches at the weekend and those of Blagnac.
“He wants to play again,” said an internal Source at the Blagnac club about Joe Tekori, who recently lost his wife. Her memory was honoured last Sunday before Toulouse-La Rochelle, at the same time as that of the young Medhi Narjissi.
