Bruges achieves “best JPL transfer”: “30 million”

At Club Brugge, the transfer market was managed rather well once again. The Blauw en Zwart sold some important players but they reinvested the money to recruit reinforcements.

The champions let Antonio Nusa and Igor Thiago go but they got a good price for both players. And they finally kept Andreas Skov Olsen and Raphael Onyedika, whose departures did not materialize.

Reinforcements that must progress

In terms of arrivals, the reinforcements arrived quite early. For the moment, these reinforcements are not yet at their maximum potential with Ardon Jashari who is not showing his best level or Hugo Siquet who still has to adapt to his new team. Zaid Romero must recognize the superiority of Joel Ordoñez.

Two newcomers, however, are much more successful. Gustaf Nilsson has taken a little time to find his feet but with two goals and three assists, he now feels at home in the Venice of the North.

A jackpot for Bruges?

The one who is most talked about is the Greek Christos Tzolis. Followed by Bruges for a long time, it was his excellent season in Dusseldorf that convinced the management to go on the offensive and 6 million were therefore paid out. An investment that is well worth it for the moment.

Although he still has “only” three goals to his name, this figure should improve quickly. Every time he comes into the game something happens and Hein Vanhaezebrouck is under his spell.

According to him, the Greek can bring in a nice sum of money for the Club if he continues on his winning streak, especially in the Champions League. “If Tzolis continues on his winning streak in the Champions League, he can become the best transfer in the league and be sold soon for at least 30 million euros,” Vanhaezebrouck told The Newspaper.
