“I look forward to the next steps!”

Florian Lipowitz returned to this 10th stage: “It was a tough stage today. I think everyone was… You could see the rest day was good for everyone, so everyone went super fast on the climb at the beginning. We just tried to make the breakaway as small as possible, with no leaders for the general classification, and I think we did a good job.”

Lipowitz and his team are waiting for the next steps to move: “Ultimately we expected the stage to go this way, without going flat out on the climbs, so we’re happy with how the stage went. But the start was very difficult to control, and I think it was tough for everyone. Today I felt pretty good again. I also didn’t know how the rest day would affect my body. I really needed to rest yesterday, but now I feel good again and I’m looking forward to the next stages.”
