The time for the big reunion with the Damiers rang out this Tuesday evening at the open-air theater of the Château de Crussol in Saint-Péray in Ardèche. For the first time, The Drôme club invited its supporters to participate in the big launch party of the season. Several hundred people attended the presentation of the workforce for the 2024-2025 season in Pro D2, as well as unveiling of the new jerseys which will be carried by Fabien Fortassin’s men.
After the speech of thanks by co-president Jean-Pierre Cheval, the 44 players of the Valence-Romans-Drôme-Rugby squad went on stage and were introduced, position by position, to the public who were able to get to know the 10 recruits of the Damiers. A festive evening with autograph stands, discussions with the players and many activities.
The VRDR will start the season in Biarritz this Friday (7:30 p.m.) before playing two consecutive matches at the Pompidou stadium against Dax on September 6 and Béziers on September 13. A season to experience and directly on France Bleu Drôme-Ardèche.
