What’s on today’s schedule?

For the French, the day will start at 9:30 a.m. in Clichy-sous-Bois, in the heart of Seine-Saint-Denis, for the last day of cycling. Alexandre Leauté and Thomas Peyroton-Dartet will be the first to set off, for the men’s C1-3 road race. At 3 p.m., it will be the turn of the relay (H1-5).

As every morning, keep an eye on the Paralympic pool, where many French athletes will be aiming to qualify for the afternoon finals. Elodie Lorandi will take part in the 200m medley (SM10) at 9:40 a.m., Dimitri Granjux in the 50m backstroke (S4) at 10:38 a.m., Kylian Portal in the 100m butterfly (S12) at 10:47 a.m., and Solene Sache in the 200m medley (SM5) at 11:20 a.m. The mixed 4x100m freestyle relay will start at 5:30 p.m.

The French clan will also rely on para judo to accumulate medals. World champion Helios Latchoumanaya (-90 kg) will fight from 9:30 a.m., as will Cyril Jonard in the same weight category, but also Nacer Zorgani, Jason Grandry (+ 90 kg) and Prescillia Leze (+ 70 kg).

The French team is also expected in para canoeing. Rémy Boullé will start at 10 a.m. in the semi-final of the kayak (KL1) over 200 m, followed by Eléa Charvet in va’a (VL3) over 200 m at 10:49 a.m., Nelia Barbosa in kayak (KL3) over 200 m at 11:55 a.m. and finally Abel Aber in va’a (VL3) over 200 m at 12:05 p.m. In equestrian, we will have to follow Alexia Pittier and Vladimir Vinchon (Grade IV) in the grade IV individual event, starting at 9:30 a.m. Chiara Zenati will compete in the grade III individual event at 3:33 p.m.

At 10:21 a.m., French flag bearer Nantenin Keita will compete in the 400m final (T13), while Angelina Lanza and Marie Ngoussou Ngouyi will take part in the 200m heats (T47) starting at 12:46 p.m. In the evening, Renaud Clair will be in the 1,500m final (T38) at 7:09 p.m. and Badr Touzi will take part in the shot put final (F63) at 8:20 p.m.

We will also have to keep an eye on Lucas Didier, in the semi-finals of table tennis (MS9) at 11 a.m., on the quarter-finals of the women’s épée at 11:30 a.m. and men’s at 12:40 p.m., or on Rafik Arabat in weightlifting at 6:35 p.m.

Finally, the Stade Tour Eiffel will be the scene of the clash between France and Argentina, in the blind football final, starting at 8 p.m.
