Radja Nainggolan was arrested this morning by the Brussels police. The former Roma star is accused of drug trafficking.
The information makes the headlines on social media. The Belgian international, Nainggolan, is under arrest for an investigation for drug trafficking.
The Brussels public prosecutor’s office confirms
The news is confirmed by the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. “The investigation is linked to thesuspected importation of cocaine from South America to Europe via the port of Antwerp and to marketing of this cocaine on Belgian territory”explains prosecutor Julien Moinil.
-“As part of a case of the organized crime division of the public prosecutor’s office in Brussels, entrusted to a Brussels investigating judge, the Federal Judicial Police of Brussels carried out thirty home searches on Monday January 27, 2025, mainly in the province from Antwerp, to Brussels and the Brussels suburbs”concluded Moinil.
Who is Nainggolan?
Nainggolan recently signed a contract with Loreken-Temse in Division 1B of Belgium. He even managed to score a goal for his debut with his new team.
Obviously, his joy at integrating well into his new club has literally come to a halt. Needless to say, the former AS Roma and Inter Milan midfielder enjoys the principle of the presumption of innocence.
