AS FAR supporters banned from traveling to Berkane

The security authorities of the city of Berkane have taken the decision to prohibit the travel of AS FAR supporters for the match between their team and the Renaissance of Berkane, scheduled for next Thursday as part of the late match of the 19th Botola Pro day.

According to an informed source cited by Hesport, this decision was taken as a preventive measure in order to avoid any incident or act of hooliganism.

During the security and organizational meeting relating to this match, it was also decided not to allocate a ticket quota to AS FAR supporters.

This measure is part of a series of similar restrictions prohibiting the travel of supporters of certain teams, notably those of Raja, Wydad and AS FAR, for recent matches.

As a reminder, the match between Berkane Renaissance and AS FAR had been postponed due to the participation of both teams in continental competitions: the Confederation Cup for Berkane and the Champions League for AS FAR. The two clubs have also ensured their qualification for the quarter-finals of their respective competitions.
