Red Bull sent a tried humor message to FIA on social networks after the announcement of new strict sanctions before the 2025 season.
The ruling body of sport has indeed hardened its disciplinary rules, allowing the commissioners to inflict substantial fines from the first offense for swears or criticism of the FIA. In the event of a recurrence, the sanctions could go as far as the races and withdrawals of points in the championship.

These new guidelines are likely to arouse the opposition of F1 pilots and competitors from other categories governed by FIA. Last year, Max Verstappen was sanctioned with work of general interest after having sworn during an official press conference in Singapore. In response, the Red Bull driver had expressed little in front of the FOM cameras before sharing his dissatisfaction with journalists outside the F1 press room.
