Several individuals arrested in possession of white weapons
The violent assault took place in the tourist district of Monti, in the center of the Italian capital. About 80 ultras from the Roman club, dressed in black and their face hidden by hoods, took 70 fans of Real Sociedad, using smoke and firecrackers. Tables and chairs have also been launched.
-Alerted by residents, the police intervened to end this attack and were able to challenge several individuals, some of whom were in possession of white weapons such as knives, iron bars or hammers. Surveillance cameras in the district are being examined by the Italian authorities, who seek to find out if this attack was premeditated due to the also political rivalry between Roman supporters and those of the Basque training.
