Dries Mertens beat a record in the Europa League

This Tuesday, Dries Mertens broke a pretty crazy record in the Europa League. Indeed, the versatile striker made history by becoming the player who played the greatest number of matches in the Europa League with 70 matches. Quite incredible longevity for the Belgian who joined the Turkish club Galatasaray in 2022 after making his mark in Naples.
