Handball/World Cup: Egypt and Cape Verde in the next round

The adventure continues for two African countries. Egypt and Cape Verde have obtained their tickets for the second round of the competition.

With two victories and a defeat conceded against Croatia, Egypt advances to the qualifying round while Cape Verde only obtained one victory and recorded two defeats. The two teams find themselves in pot 4 for the qualifying places in the quarter-finals of the competition. They will find Croatia, Slovenia, Iceland and Argentina there. The top two teams advance to the quarterfinals and will compete for a place in the final four.

Guinea, Algeria and Tunisia were unable to get out of their different groups.
